National Enterprise Day is today, 19th October and there are so many wonderful events being held today to promote, encourage and stimulate female entrepreneurship across Ireland. 

As an entrepreneur myself, I am very keen to encourage and support women to claim their entrepreneurial identity and own how they want to be seen professionally.  The journey of an entrepreneur is not an easy one, and the decision to set up your own business is probably one that has taken years to initiate. 

I celebrate such bravery and ask that all women entrepreneurs (or indeed those contemplating making this decision) is to own your decision, move forward and be proud that you are embarking on this path.  There is a network of organisations, mentors, guides, accountability partners and supporting infrastructure that will help you realise your dream. 

Go for it.
